| The
University of Maryland College Park Department of Nutrition
and Food Science sponsors a Dietetic Internship with an emphasis
in Information Management and Communication. This 43-week full time program is
located in the Baltimore- Washington area. The tuition cost is
$6,250 plus personal expenses. The 2010-2011 Class will consist
of 10 selected interns. The program will participate in the April
2010 computer match. |

The University of Maryland College Park Dietetic Internship
is currently granted Initial Accreditation by the Commission
on Accreditation of Dietetic Education (CADE) of the American
Dietetic Association, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000,
Chicago, IL 60060-6995. 1-800-877-1600.

| Upon
successful completion of the Internship program, the intern
will be eligible to complete the Registration Examination. Upon successful passage of the registration examination, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Licensure is mandatory for dietetics and clinical dietetics practice. |
